Before you apply online, make sure you have:

• Reviewed the relevant Employment Permits Checklists - DETE.
• The User Guide on completing and submitting an application form.
• A scanner or camera.
• A valid credit or debit card.

You need an account to apply for an employment permit. You can also use it to check the status of an application. All correspondence will be issued to your account.
